About Me

Melody Robinette is a Contemporary YA Fantasy author who grew up living in a daydream. She is a lover of all things macabre and fantastical from books to film and everything in between. Aching love, longing glances, and enemies who fall for each other are her bread and butter. She also has an unhealthy obsession with the grim reaper and traipsing through cemeteries.

She now lives in Austin, Texas with her cocktail enthusiast husband, Ben, and their two ridiculous felines. As a type one diabetic, she has joined the #insulin4all movement and strives to spread awareness about her disease.

When she isn’t writing, she can be found teaching teenagers about literature, but more importantly, encouraging them to be unapologetically themselves.
